"WOW! Found this at Rick's Meats & grocery store in Elkhorn, NE, and it is made right here down the road some 45 miles in Lincoln, NE. More Like from FLAVOR-TOWN! The "Sticky Stuff" is not quite BBQ sauce, less tomato-y than BBQ ... is lighter and GREAT on top of my savory meat loaf. It is a bit sweet but not overpowering the good rich taste. One could easily use it as a base and add in own desired EXTRAS like saute some thin onions with a bit of char on 'em OR add in some horseradish or carne asada seasoning for a different kick, OR maybe add some of the various mustards out there like stone ground. It would be nice base for making your own baked beans, or hearty dressing of a salad or even to dress cabbage for a tangy new-fangled slaw. This would be a nice option for a topping on grilled chicken, even better on SALMON - oh yeah. Great ... now my mouth is watering. Well, back to Rick's Meats in Elkhorn 'cuz it seems FAT BOY's Sticky Stuff would be great on some of Rick's homemade sausages ... blueberry sausage, cherry sausage, apple sausage ... decisions, decisions .. .of course his smoked salmon is the bomb ... now there's the ticket ... better go load up the cart and get me some more "Sticky Stuff", I'll be needing it for all the ideas I just came up with."
"I have never purchased a rub before as I have always made my own. This time, I wanted to give this rub a try due to the positive reviews and the price. Every year my wife and I have a "smoke out" at my house ... ribs, brisket, bratwurst and chicken, and entertain about 50 friends/family members. JB's stood up well to the other reviews! Excellent flavor! I was quite surprised not to find brown sugar in the ingredients, though. I cut it with equal amount of brown sugar, and found this to make a near perfect rub! We now use it on eggs, potatoes, fish and everything that goes on the grill or in the smoker. I cannot make it any better or any cheaper. Highly recommended!"
